Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for answers?

What happens after I get in touch?

Depending on your enquiry, I’ll reply by email or suggest a time to speak online, whichever makes most sense.
It’s a chance for me to understand what you’re looking for, and for you to hear a little more about how I work.

What is the free consultation for?

A relaxed, informal conversation.  No pressure, no agenda.
You can share what you’d like to change or improve, and I’ll talk you through the services that would suit you best.

What area do you cover?

I’m based in Gloucestershire and work mainly within the county, though I’m happy to travel further where possible. If you’re outside the area, just get in touch and we’ll work out what’s involved.

How long does a styling session take?

Each service is designed to give you the time and focus you need:

  • Colour profiling — around 1.5 to 2 hours
  • Wardrobe review and edit — up to 3 hours
  • Personal shopping — around 3 hours

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

Once we’ve confirmed your booking, I’ll send a short questionnaire. This helps me understand your lifestyle, preferences, and what you’d like to achieve — so we can make the most of our time together.
I may also ask for a photo and your contact details, so I can prepare properly and follow up with personalised guidance afterwards.

How much does styling cost?

For women:

  • Colour Profiling £150
  • Wardrobe Review and Edit £275
  • Personal Shopping £275
  • The Complete Style Package £600

Full details of what’s included are on the Services page.

For men:

  • Full Styling Package £425

Full details are on the Men’s Styling page.

How do I know if this is right for me?

That’s something only you can decide,  and the initial consultation is there to help you do exactly that.
We’ll talk through where you are now and what you’d like to change. From there, I’ll explain what we could work on together, and how that would translate into your everyday wardrobe.

Where do sessions take place?

Colour profiling and wardrobe sessions take place in your home, where your wardrobe naturally lives.

Personal shopping takes place in a town we choose together, based on what works best for you.

Is it still worth doing if I’ve worked with a stylist before?

Often, yes. What you’ve learned before can be genuinely useful.

But if your lifestyle, role, or body shape has changed, your wardrobe usually needs to shift with it. This is an opportunity to refine things so they feel right for where you are now.

Will you use colour recommendations I’ve had before?

Absolutely,  we can build on any previous colour work.

We’ll use what already works for you and refine it where needed.

What will I receive after the session?

After your session, I’ll send a personalised PDF by email. It covers everything we’ve discussed, with clear references for colours and clothing shapes, along with considered suggestions and links you can return to whenever you need them.

What does colour profiling do?

Colour profiling helps you understand which colours bring ease and clarity to how you look.

Using fabric drapes placed near your face, you’ll see how different tones affect your skin and overall appearance and begin to recognise what makes you look naturally well and put together.

We’ll also explore colour psychology, so the colours you wear can support how you want to feel, as well as how you look.
